A Test with a Cute Picture

So this is a test post because I have been having problems with the spacing in my blog posts.

Here's a pic of Kellan from Sunday. He turned one on Easter. I think he's cutting some new teeth, and he had a miserable night before and a not so hot day, but he did at least enjoy the cupcake! I can't believe my baby is a year old. This past year has gone by too fast.

Why won't it just return one line instead of having huge spaces inbetween these lines????? If you have an answer for me....please let me know!!! Thanks!

A Card and a Story

Here's another card I made that is just like the card I did for the last Color Throwdown. I just wanted to see what it would look like using different colors.Sorry the pic isn't' that great. I have no excuse as the sun is actually making an appearance today. I should have gone outside to take the picture. And I know the blue butterfly isn't stamped perfect, but hey, call me lazy, after stamping all the other butterflies, I just didn't feel like re-doing the whole thing again.

Now for the story.

Last night was a deadline for a PC call for their Holiday Cards and More publication. I had made a couple of cards I wanted to submit, but life has been super crazy the past few weeks, and so here I was at 10 pm just beginning to submit the few cards I had. Then while I was submitting them I got a couple of other ideas for amazing cards, and so I hustled as fast as I could to crank 'em out and photograph them, and as I was submitting my favorite card, I looked on my computer clock and it said 10:58, but I was almost done. I hit submit, but I had gone too fast, and the picture hadn't uploaded entirely, and it then brought me to a screen that said I needed to add a photo, and then by the time I got back to getting everything figured out, it was past the deadline, and I couldn't submit it. It was a card that used non holiday specific product, and I was so excited to have made the card because it used a stamp set that I have been trying to play around with more and have had a tough time using it.....can ya guess which one? Here's a hint: it's the same one I used to make the above card!!! I'm going to submit it for another call, but I don't know if it will fit this other category exactly. We'll just have to see!
