Happy Monday! All the kiddos are home from school today due to a teacher work day, and they have friends over, so I have a house full of boys! So much fun.
I realized last night as I was making this card, that today was the last day to enter! Where has January gone? I can't believe that tomorrow is February!
Anyway, here is the card I made for the Monochromatic Challenge over at the Moxie Fab World. I had a different card I was going to submit to this challenge, but it really didn't do any thing for me, so I waited a little while and the idea for this card came to me.

I had a really tough time getting the letters to turn out. I used alphabet letters, and anyway, I won't bore you with the details, but with placement issues and embossing issues, I think I ended up making this card like 5 times before I was happy with the result. And then I thought to myself....is it really worth it to make a card 5 times? I was driving myself crazy, but as a bit of a perfectionist I couldn't just let it go. I even made a different version of the card (below) using a different font of alphabet, and it was much easier, but I didn't like it as much. So I went back and tried it the original way one last time, because I knew if I didn't get it, it would bother me all day.
I just realized I wasn't going to bore you all with the details and well, I pretty much did! Sorry! It was kinda funny because as I was attempting this card over and over and over again, Cody was playing Madden Football with one of his friends and they were talking about third down conversions, and I realized that I was '0' for '5' on my ability to convert into a finished card. So if anyone ever asks you if card making is like football.....you can answer yes. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a beautiful day!
