I saw that Tracy used some of the Basic Grey Origins line for her card, and well, Tracy, you inspired me! Only I didn't use the pretty patterns. I decided on the more utilitarian ones....well mostly because I don't really know how well flowers go with robots and little boy birthday cards! Also, it seems like I always use up the amazing "pretty papers" first, and then have all these "not so exciting" papers left over, which I hang onto for what seems like forever and then realize I'm not going to use them and let my kids have them!
Okay, enough blabber....here's my card:This card is really simple, perhaps too simple, I don't know....this was the first time I have inked up this little robot guy.....I think I've had him for almost a year now! Poor little guy has seen now love until now!
Boy cards are SO hard for me, which is most likely why my boys never get a card on their birthday from mom! Isn't that sad? I think I might save this and give it to my little Sam. He will be 5 in April, right about the time the baby is due.....I just hope they don't end up with the same birthday!
Well, I gotta go and get dinner going!
Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful day!
