Here is a VERY simple card I made for the latest Embellish Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful day!

And here's another card I made while I was waiting for the camera battery to charge so I could take a picture of the first card!

Since two of these colors are being retired by Stampin' UP, (or in my book, already retired, since I just went through all my stuff and purged all the old and re-organized according to the new Color Renovation) I had to dig a bit to find the ink pads!!!
I made a really simple card. One that could be easily mass produced.....although cutting out the little butterfly would get to be a bit old after about 3 or 4 of them. I wanted to use one of my Martha Stewart butterfly punches, but a friend of mine borrowed them, and is currently on vacation, so what's a girl to do?

Hi!
And as I'm typing this post, I just realized that this challenge as supposed to use labels too! Oops! Can y'all tell I'm a bit sleep deprived these days? Kellan's almost 8 weeks old, and I think the lack of sleep is beginning to catch up with me!
I had so much fun with the last EBTKS challenge, and was so thrilled to have been picked as one of the 5 divas ( thanks, ladies! ), and I found myself so excited for the next challenge!

But the story doesn't end there. I wanted to make the card and get it posted and uploaded to the challenge.....but I had a challenge preventing me from doing so. My good natured, lovey, happy 7 week old (as of just today) was giving me a run for my money. Boy, did he get cranky tonight.....he wasn't letting Kerry hold him, was screaming like no other, which I believe he cried and screamed more tonight than he has in his entire 7 week existence to this point.

So here is the 2nd card I made for Kristina's color inspiration challenge. You can see the first card if ya just keep on scrolling down. I posted it last night. Or you can click here.
It's taken me longer to get my stampin mojo back than I had anticipated, and neither card that I made is screaming 'awesome' at me. But it's something I guess. I just realized that the boys' basketball hoop is in the background of this pic! Oops. But Kellan is sleeping right now, and I still have to get some laundry switched out before he wakes up, so this picture will just have to do!
Not the best picture, I know, but I just wanted to get it posted, cuz who knows when I'm gonna get back here.....could be a day, could be a week!

What I didn't realize was how tough of a medium nail polish would be. Thanks for the challenge, ladies! I just figured that I would color the flowers and it would be like using a marker, right? WRONG! I had to place a few drops on the paper and then I used a pall point pen to "drag" the nail polish around to make the flowers in the shape I wanted them. They are a bit abstract, but they are growing on me!
I had my 6 week OB apt. on Friday, and since I was down in Seattle, I decided to stop by my favorite stamp store and I picked up this super cute paper from Memory Box that I used on this card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful day!
