EBTKS Challenge and a little FREAKING OUT!

This is my second post for the day.....so keep going if you would like to see some of the cards I made for Winter's St. Jude's card drive!Oh, they really shouldn't do this to pregnant ladies....as I was in the middle of making my card for the EBTKS challenge, my phone rang and it was my OB's office telling me that my doctor broke her arm and is going to be out about 7 weeks. Really not too big of a deal, I guess, since I still have a little over 12 weeks to go; she should be back by then, but my hormones just got the best of me and I can't stop crying. So for the next two months, it looks like I'm going to be seeing a midwife. I tried to get in with the doctor that delivered Sam, because he came 2 weeks late, over a weekend that my doctor was out of town, but that doctor has cut down her practice and is only on call. She's not seeing patients in the office. I have not been feeling all that well lately, and was really looking forward to seeing my doctor, she is the best OB in the world. I feel like I can talk to her like one of my friends....I don't feel like just a patient or just a number. It's really tough to find people like that, and they just shouldn't be taken away from you when you are this hormonal. This pregnancy has been really difficult on me, but I guess I haven't learned what I am supposed to yet, because God needed to put another hurdle in my way. I just pray that I will be able to handle this one gracefully.

Okay, now I can share my card that I made for the EBTKS challenge. I have been really into the red glitter lately! I don't know why....we can blame that on the crazy hormones too! LOL! I decided to use a heart shape in lieu of the circle, and my placement is a little off from the sketch as well, but hopefully that's okay!
As I was making this card, for some reason it just seemed natural to keep it going to the inside of the card. I guess that Moxie Fab World Challenge has really rubbed off on me. So here's what the inside of my card looks like as well.
Well, one of my little guys is home sick with the "throw up bug" today, so I best get tending to him....plus I am really in need of a shower!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope everyone out there has a fabulous day!
Supplies: Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, both SU. Bo Bunny Love Bandit line. Inks: Chocolate Chip, Real Red. Stamps: I {heart} hearts, SU clear mount stamps! Extras: Martha Stewart Glitter in Garnet, Scallop Border Punch.

Bless your heart Amanda! I know how you must feel about your doctor but everything will be ok and it will work out. Hang in there! God doesn't give you more than you can handle and He is with you every single step of the way.
I hope your son feels better and you don't catch whatever he has...oh my!
Your card is just darling and I love that red glitter! And how you decorated the inside... very pretty! Love it. :)

Have a good weekend. You deserve it. :)

Cute card -- love the inside, too. I really need to do that more often (maybe I should spend more time on Cath's Moxie Fab blog so it will rub off on me, too!). Isn't it funny how something that under normal circumstances (and maybe even the next day) would be no big deal, but in the moment it's HUGE! I'm sure all your doctor stuff and the baby will be fine. It is hard to adjust to those little twists life sends us, though. By the way, is that Haystack Rock in coastline picture on your sidebar? One of my favorite spots in the world, if so...
