Oh, What a Day!

So today totally backfired on me....what was supposed to be a morning with 2 hours to myself, quickly turned into a day with all my children home. I'll save you all the painful details; let's just say I'm still in my pajamas and it's amazing I'm getting something posted at all!

This card is from last Thursday's card class, and is in keeping with one of my goals to use up all the patterned paper that I currently have before I buy more, or open a new package. This is really hard for me, but so far, so good!

Stamps: image is SU Party Hearty, Sentiment is from Impress stamps

Inks: pink passion, certainly celery, bashful blue, yo-yo yellow & basic grey

Paper: whisper white, certainly celery, bashful blue, pacific point...and I have no idea where the patterned paper is from.....thus the reason for cleaning out my stash!

Accessories: vanilla taffeta ribbon, pommegranite baubles, swiss dots embossing cartridge, 2" circle punch, and of course dazzling diamonds glitter!

Hey Amanda,

What are baubles? I love your blog! What a great idea!

Baubles are my newest crave....they are the cuttest litte embellishments...they kind of remind me of dew drops....they are rounded and have flat backs to adhere using glue dots....and they come in so many exciting colors....as soon as I receive my shipment of the rest of the colors, I will be selling assorted packs of them! I'll keep you posted.
